Nimrod

from £99.99

The Nimrod was a maritime reconnaissance aircraft that served with the RAF from 1969 to 2011. It was actually developed from the de Havilland Comet - the worlds first jet powered airliner. Following on from it’s heritage, the Nimrod was the first jet powered maritime reconnaissance aircraft too, replacing the Avro Shackleton. The Nimrod has itself now been retired and replaced by the Boeing E-3 Sentry.

This stylish piece of wall art is precision laser cut from 2mm steel and powder coated to a satin black finish. This provides a durable rust resistant finish so it can be displayed indoors or out. The piece stands away from the wall by 16mm giving an elegant 3D look which casts a silhouette on the wall. Mounting instructions and wall fixings are supplied.
