The Panavia Tornado is a twin engined attack aircraft, built by a consortium of three countries; The United Kingdom, Germany and Italy. It first flew in 1974 and entered service in 1979 with the RAF, where it was deployed in the Gulf War and Afghanistan. The Tornado was finally fully retired in 2019, being replaced by the Eurofighter Typhoon
